PodcastStingers A "stinger" is the short blast of sound used between subjects in a podcast. It may be a bleep, a honk or a ripple of music. On this site you'll find a variety of free "stingers" in stereo mp3 format to download and use in your podcast. There are also some musical introductions for podcasts. All of these are Freeware. You can use them for your personal use but you may not sell or distribute them by any means. I'll be adding more sounds in the future and you'll find them listed on the relevant page. Garageband software on the Apple Mac is excellent. See MacMice GarageKey USB MidiKeyboard for Apple Garageband here. Connect the keyboard to a USB port, using the cable provided. There is no need to alter any system sound settings. Simply launch GarageBand and select "New Track". In the popup window that appears, make sure that "Software Instrument" is selected because your keyboard is a MIDI instrument and not a "Real" instrument.
